  • really helpful tips! and thinspiration



    This one is obvious but I'll post it just 'cuz : Keep [your E.D.] secret, if you know someone who might want to stop you from your goals.



    Make a list of 5 things that make you really happy, notice that food is not one of them, so why bother eating it?



    Throughout the week, when you have a craving, write it down in your Ana notebook.  At the end of the week (pick a day, Saturday?  Sunday?  Your choice) and binge on your cravings.  Exercise it off.



    Keep money in a piggy bank (porclein works best).  Don't take it with you to go out.  You'll spend it.



    Drink warm drinks, like tea, coffee, or warm milk.  It makes you feel full.



    Buy the Crystal Light On The Go packets.  Put them in your water.  They're 10 calories each, but they're delicious.  (My favorite is Rasberry Ice)



    Put pictures of your favorite model inside your Diary.  Don't keep a diary?  Start to.



    Get a hobby that will keep you from eating.  Scrapbook, draw, write stories, or even shop!  It should keep your mind off eating.


    Tempted to eat?  Jump on the scale.... how do you feel?
(That's what I thought.)


    make a Thin CD.  Put a bunch of songs on it that you can dance to.  You'll have fun and get thin.  I recommend songs like Whenever Wherever by Shakira, Under the Sea from Little Mermaid, Ultimate (Lindsay Lohan, Freaky Friday soundtrack), and maybe even Mentirosa (It's spanish...)  No matter what you listen to, put other genres on there too.  It makes it more fun, and you'll exercise.   ((If you can't make a CD, ask a friend to make one for you. 


    Make an ED help site!  Tips, thinspiration, layouts, icons, ANYTHING YOU CAN DO!  Thinspiration is probably easiest if you have a busy schedule but make any of them!



    Instead of eating, chew gum.  Most are only 5 calories and it takes the hunger off!


    There IS a big difference between soda and diet soda!  There's about a 300 calorie difference!



    Only set realistic goals!  Otherwise, you'll feel horrible that you haven't reached them.


    Don't eat after 6PM.



    Feel a craving?  Go on xanga - update, surf for tips or look at some thinspo.  Rearrange your room.  Clean out from underneath your bed



    Do the words thinspiration notebook mean anything to you?  If not, this is a notebook [composition book, spiral notebok, scrapbook, whatever!] that you fill with quotes,  pictures, magazine articles/clippings of things you find beautiful.  but make sure you hide it from prying eyes!

  • staying motivated


    STAYING MOTIVATED



    Thinking of giving up? Don't! Instead...

    Have a picture of you at your highest weight. (Don't have one? Take one now!) When you're struggling, look at your "Before" picture. Recall why you DON'T want to look or feel like that ever again.


    At each 10 lb / 5 kilo weight-loss interval, take a picture of yourself. Compare it to your "before" picture and enjoy the new you!


    List all your reasons for wanting to lose weight now. Keep the list in your purse or pocket where you can refer to it easily. (But be careful not to let snooping family or friends discover it...)


    Start a scrapbook! Keep in it stories of other ana's, articles on the risks of being overweight and the benefits of weight loss, and trigger pics of your favourite models. Re-read it periodically.


    Talk to another understanding Ana. Having an "Ana-buddy" is a great way to remember that you're not alone, and competition can be great motivation!


    * Make a list of special non-food "treats", such as a new CD, flowers, or a manicure etc. Enjoy something from this list each time you achieve a goal.

    LITTLE INTERESTING TID-BITS

    Fidgeting will burn extra calories.

    Buying a small instead of a large will keep you in control.

    Raw food--not meat--won't put weight on you, and it will give you your color back.

    Eating a little at a time burns off better than gorging on the same food.

    Even the most biggest binge wont hurt once in a while.

    Caffeine helps you burn calories--you become hyper!

    Smelling food is just as satisfying as eating it.

    Wearing right clothes keeps you reminded of what you don't want.



    It takes about 3500 calories to lose or gain a pound.

    If you ate a "normal" 2000 calorie diet for a week, your weight would remain the same, if you didn't eat for a whole week, you would lose about 4 pounds.

    Sipping something helps the tummy happy.

    Chew sugarless gum to keep your mouth happy.

    When you are beginning to be lazy, get up and do 50 jumping jacks really fast.

    Food porn is fun! Look up disgusting or sexy food if you are hungry.



    Read the "nutrition" panel and see what disgusting things lie ahead in that muffin.

    Look at yourself naked in the mirror.

    Order things you don't like.

    Wear ankle weights.

    Keep some "trash" bags in your room for easy disposal of unwanted food.

  • Im a f****king failure!!!!!!!!!

    not doing so well at the moment.

    i have been eating like such a fat pig, i a m a pig!!!!

    i hate myself so f****king much right now.
    at least today has gone better with not eating way too much, but i have been eating pizza almost every day of this week.

    i know , i know , i know. im huge fat pig!! and disgusting.

    i totally hate myself ,

    and yesterday i ate mcdonals twice yesterday!!!!! damn it ,!!!!

    im so out of control right now
    the pounds i lost this month i have gained them back again.

    i dont know what to do anymore, im really stressing out so f*8****king bad.

    excuse my language. but im really upset and angry at myself right now.


    i will do anything to be thin again!!!!!!

    i dont know what to do , i miss being thin!!!!

    i will try to do a liquid fast, or something, i dont know , feeling lost !!!! feeling out of control , freaking out!!!

    i feel like giving up now. i m such a f****ng failure!!!!!

  • reached one of my goals!

    im finally making progress now , i reached my first goal weight, and i m actually out of the 180's and now im 175 pounds finally, it has taken for ever to get here where i am today, once again.
    highest weight ever was 230 pounds now im down to 175 since i started my ana journey!

    im not stopping here i want to reach my lowest weight once again . if i did it before i can do it again. and no one is going to stop me this time.!!!!!

    no more gaining the weight back. no more weight gain.

    i miss being thin, i miss being a 100 pounds, if i reached a 100 before i can do it again, and since everyone thinks im okay now and that i dont have an eating disorder anymore , because now they think im fat and i have been told that to my face, i will prove everyone i can go lower .

    What is the best appetite suppresant available? There is no way that i can't eat or really even curb my eating. I try but its impossible for me. I have little self-control.
