  • Fighting off late night cravings

    i found these tips on a message board i go to and i thought that they are very helpful
    as i said and promised that i will keep my xanga updated when i can.
    here are some tips!
    Fighting off late night cravings



    Hot drinks like de-caf tea or coffee also help put off cravings.

    Set a bedtime for yourself and have a bath or shower / evening routine that will keep you in a different room to the kitchen.


    You could sip what I'm sipping this very moment, metamucil. The fiber fills you up for the night, and will help you poo in the morning.


    peppermint tea. its been stressed before but go buy it and when you try it you will see the wonders . something about drinking something hot makes you savor it, drink slowly, and fill you up

    Going to bed early sneakily gets past that 11pm "mealtime".


    If the cravings are really bad you could allow yourself apples, sweet little filler uppers


    Just have a coffee or small snacks till it starts getting later. When you learn to work around you're body not you're body around what you want it to do you can restrict a lot better.

    No eating at all after 7pm and no carbs after lunchtime. Also if you're a tea or coffee drinker switch to decaf after dinnertime so your body starts to wind down and relax ready for bed, so doesn't feel the urge to 'refuel'.

  • update and tips and thinspo

    i know i havent posted an entry in so long .
    i have been away , i was on vacation family vacation , and i have been busy with school.
    and also have been depressed lately and dont have the motivation to post an entry here.
    but i promise i will try to keep this updated more.


    okay thats for the update now on for the tips.
    i dont know if i have posted them already but we can all use tips
    they are always helpful!!

    Eating Less


           1.      Water.  Load yourself with it.  Keep your stomach totally full of
    water at all times.  Obviously this will leave less room for food.
    Plus, dehydration makes you hungry.


           2.      Become vegetarian.  This is not an option.  Meat is fatty and
    disgusting.  Do some research on slaughterhouses if you need the
    incentive.  If you are not already underweight, you will lose at least
    six pounds in two or so months just by omitting meat.


           3.      Fat-Free chocolate milk.  This is good for sweet cravings, plus it
    is thick so it fill you up.




       4.      RULES, RULES, RULES.  This is important.  You need to set rules
    for yourself, and if you are truly ana, you will have no problem
    sticking to them because you are STRONG!  Rules are everything.  Don't
    eat anything white.  Do not, under any circumstances, eat after six
    o'clock.  Do not eat before three o'clock.  Cut each bite into x


    amount of pieces, and chew it x amounts of time.  Do not eat anything
    that has over 3 grams of fat.  Make more of your own rules
    accordingly.


           5.      Make worksheets!  This is fun and helpful.  At the bottom of this
    page I will put a version of my own worksheet, which I do weekly.
    This will help you keep track of your goals and progress.  Copy mine
    or make your own, print out a bunch of them and put them in a binder.
    Fill them out often, and review them frequently.


         





     6.      Diet Pills.  They might be "dangerous", but hey, I am not doing
    this for my health.  I personally use Metabolife.  I lived on Dexatrim
    Natural for years, but sort of outgrew it.  Dexatrim is a great
    product.  They will keep you from overeating, plus give you the buzz
    you will grow so fond of.


       

     7.      When you get the urge to snack, clean the toilet and the bathtub.
    Clean it well, and use lots of chemicals.  The smell will certainly
    curb your appetite, plus you'll be burning calories!



    8.      Chew sugar-free gum.


           9.      Don't eat out, ever.


           10.     Don't eat anything that you don't know the nutritional value of.






           11.     Tea helps calm a hungry belly.  It soothes you and fills you up.
    No fat, No calories.


           12.     Between each bite, put your utensil down.  Chew your food until
    it dissolves.


           13.     Write your current weight on one hand, and your goal weight on
    the other.  When you go to eat, you'll be reminded how fat you are,
    and how skinny you could be.


           14.     Drink flavored seltzer, or Pelligrino sparkling water.  It will
    keep you hydrated, but it is more filling than just spring water
    because of the carbonation.



    Getting Extra Exercise

           1.      WEAR ANKLE WEIGHTS.  EVERYWHERE.  Burn, baby, burn.  No one will
    see them under your jeans, especially if you wear boot-cuts or flares.


           2.      Do not, under any circumstances, set foot in an elevator!  Always
    take the stairs.  Especially if you have a heavy load or if you're
    going up to a very high floor.  The more flights, the better.


           3.      Where ever you go, park in the furthest possible spot and walk.


           4.      Don't sit unless it is totally unreasonable not to.  Don't sit on
    the subway/bus/train, don't sit while you wait for something/someone;
    standing burns so many more calories than sitting.


           5.      Fidget, fidget, fidget.  Just by wiggling around a bit during
    class or work or whatever, you can burn between 300-500 extra calories
    a day!


     

         6.      If you can do it walking, then walk.  If I have reading to do for
    homework, I walk around the campus while I read.  This is obviously
    tough to do with a huge text book, but I'm talking about doing it with
    a paperback or something.


           7.      March in place while you watch TV.


           8.      Do crunches while you watch TV.

  • ( diet pills ) thinspo notebooks/ and other stuff

    hey everyone i need some ideas on where i can hide my diet pills

    i have alot of diet pills and stuff i have accumulated during the year, im just really desperate right now, i dont know if my mom suspects im taking diet pills or not.

    i need to hide them some where.

    also i need to hide my thinspo journals.

    i have them in my back pack and in my room but i dont feel safe just having them there and when i go out i just cant take all of my notebooks with me.

    please help me out

    Thin Commandments

    If you are not thin you are not attractive.
    Being thin is more important than being healthy.
    You must buy clothes, cut your hair, take laxatives, starve yourself & do whatever it takes to look thinner.
    You must not eat without feeling guilty.
    You must not binge without punishing yourself afterward.
    You must count calories & restrict intake accordingly.
    The most important thing is what the scale reads.
    Losing weight is good & gaining weight is bad.
    You can never be too thin.
    Being thin & starving are signs of true willpower.


    Beliefs

    I believe in Control, the only force mighty enough to bring order to the chaos that is my world.
    I believe that I am the most vile, worthless, & useless person ever to have existed on this planet, & that I am totally unworthy of anyone's time & attention.
    I believe that other people who tell me differently must be idiots. If they could see how I really am, then they would hate me almost as much as I do.
    I believe in ought, must, & should as unbreakable laws to determine my daily behavior.
    I believe in perfection & strive to attain it.
    I believe in salvation through trying a bit harder than I did yesterday.
    I believe in calorie counters as the inspired word of God, & memorize them accordingly.
    I believe in bathroom scales as an indicator of my daily successes & failures.
    I believe in hell, because I sometimes think that I am living in it.
    I believe in a wholly black & white world, the losing of weight, recrimination for sins, the abnegation of the body & a life ever fasting.


    Creed


    Thin is beauty; therefore I must be thin, & remain thin, If I wish to be loved. Food is my ultimate enemy. I may look, & I may smell, but I may not touch.
    I must think about food every second of every minute of every hour of every day & ways to avoid eating it.
    I must weigh myself, first thing, every morning, & keep that number in mind throughout the remainder of that day. Should that number be greater than it was the day before, I must fast that entire day.
    I shall not be tempted by the enemy (food), & I shall not give into temptation should it arise. Should I be in such a weakened state & I should cave, I will feel guilty & punish myself accordingly, for I have failed her.
    I will be thin, at all costs. It is the most important thing; nothing else matters.
    I will devote myself to Ana. She will be with me where ever I go, keeping me in line. No one else matters; she is the only one who cares about me & who understands me. I will honor Her & make Her proud.


    Psalm

    Strict is my diet. I must not want. It maketh me lie down at night hungry. It leadeth me past the confectioners. It trieth my willpower. It leadeth me in the paths of alteration for my body's sake. Yea, though I walk through the aisles of the pastry department, I will buy no sweet rolls for they are fattening. The cakes & the pies, they tempt me. Before me is a table set with green beans & lettuce. I filleth my stomach with liquids. My day's quota runneth over. Surely calorie & weight charts will follow me all the days of my life, & i will dwell in the fear of the scales forever.

    Preparation for Water Fasting


    Water fasting demands mental preparation, don't enter into day to by planning a ski trip. If you are fasting for the weekend clear the calendar, the fast will be an event enough. The less pressure and responsibility you have during a water fast the better. Think of it a holiday away form the normal patterns of living. We also recommended the week before your fast, you drink fresh juices and eat mostly raw fruits and vegetables to cleanse the body so that the detoxification during water fasting will be less aggressive.



    Water Fasting For Healing


    Water fasting cleanses the body aggressively removing toxins rapidly. Water fasting can be more beneficial than juice fasting in combating more persistent forms of cancer, cleansing the tissues more aggressively.



    Water Fasting for Weight Loss

    If you are juice fasting, a few days on water occasionally will intensify the fast and assist with weight-loss if you have a slow metabolism.


    Water Fasting Tips


    1. Avoid water straight from the faucet. Distilled water is the best for cleansing because of its inherent, magnetic properties and ability to absorb and suspend large quantities of toxins, flushing them from the body. The perceived value of mineral water is misleading because the inorganic minerals are like huge boulders to the cellular membranes, making them impossible to assimilate. Plants are able to break down the minerals from the soils, allowing them to be completely absorbable to the cells of the body. The best water is distilled, secondly, spring or filtered. A Brita Filtration System is inexpensive and effective, but change the filter regularly.



    2. There are no calories or nutritional value in water. On a water fast you have given your body no options but to turn to its Life Bank for fuel. This can create a problem when you have spent years depositing counterfeit fuel. Living exclusively on dirty fuel during a fast takes tremendous courage, strength and prayer. To ease into water fasting, we recommend juice fasting with periods of water fasting. For example 3 days on juice, 2 days on water, 5 days on juice, then 3 days on water. You can juice when you have to work and water fast on the weekend when you can rest. This is my preferred method of water fasting.



    Water Fasting Concerns

    It is not advisable to water fast under the conditions of hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, schizophrenia or a chronic heart condition—but God rules over hyperglycemia, diabetes, schizophrenia and chronic heart conditions. Hence, if you are called by the Holy Spirit to go on a water fast, in spite of how foolish it may seem to the world, we encourage you to be obedient.


    Dizziness

    Be careful of dizziness and black outs. The heart is resting as much as it can during water fasting. Before you stand up, take one or two deep breaths to get the heart pumping. If you start to back out, sit down or crouch down on one knee. This will immediately stop the dizziness.

    @SmutTheCat - Try exercising, it will help you burn off the extra calories you don't want. It will also give you more energy, curb your appetitie....tons of benefits. Also, if you need more motivation try to do it with a friend.

    I cannot believe you all are so worried about food and calories. DO NOT lose weight just to be skinny! just eat healthy foods and exercise. You will get sick if you lose too much weight. Wake up! See your doctor or a health care professional for advise.
